Evenings are the hardest part of the day for me. In between homework, dinner, baths, and Harrison's fussiest moments, it gets stressful. Let's forget about that, and focus on the baby snuggles when he falls asleep in his carrier.

Connor and Alaina celebrated their 100th day of school! I was excited to get up and make them special pancakes in the shape of "100"s with sprinkles, but I was greeted with, "AWWWW! I don't want pancakes!" from a nameless grump (hint: it wasn't this sweet girl). Kind of takes the wind of my sails!

Sometimes all it takes to spice up a Saturday afternoon is some food coloring in water.

I'd be lying if I said that the news of Harrison's low gain was anything less than super stressful. I had previously been adamant about not starting solids until 6 months, but since Harrison wouldn't drink formula, we introduced some avocado with coconut oil for extra calories. I'm not sure how much it's adding to his overall calorie count, but it's fun anyway!

We went to the Lowe's Build and Grow workshop for the first time. The kids LOVED it, so I think I'll have to make more of an effort to go every month!

On Christmas Eve, we had the pleasure of seeing our trampoline get blown over the fence into the neighbor's yard! Thankfully no damage was done, and we'll definitely be getting an anchor in the spring! With all of the snow we've had, it became our Stonehenge of suburbia.

We celebrated Nana's 58th birthday!

Alaina was so excited to go to Dollar Tree and pick out Nana's present. She decided on a "beautiful" bouquet of flowers and a balloon.

I gave Anthony a beautiful "bouquet" of flowers for Valentine's Day. He surprised me with a cute homemade card and three boxes of girl scout cookies! We had pink pancakes with red sprinkles for breakfast, and I helped out at Connor's class party, where I learned that he has been kissing girls on the playground and on the bus!

Kelly sent Alaina a couple of EZ Bake mixes for Valentine's Day, and we made red velvet cupcakes together. She was so proud of her work, and she kept giving them to me, which I ate with a smile, even though they tasted like $14 chalk. $14!

My valentine to myself. I can now stay upright for another month! :)
This is the best outtake ever, and I'm sad to admit that he totally got that look from me. It's what I look like every morning!

That's better! Even though I am so worried about the numbers on his growth chart, it does bring me peace to look at this happy, pint-sized baby. He's meeting milestones and is such a joy. We'll figure this out - I just hope that we're still nursing on the other side of supplementation. I don't set too many goals for myself, and I really wanted to make it to a year. Wish us luck and baby rolls!
And now, for the grand Valentine's Day finale...drumroll, please!

If you didn't have baby fever before, I bet you do now! :)

Okay, this definitely makes it *a little* more difficult to not want to have any more babies;) Love that picture!
I am still laughing about Connor kissing girls...and funny you didn't find out until the V-day party at school!
$14 for EZ bake oven kits?! Thanks for the heads-up...I'm gonna try my hardest to never get one of those.
I love how carefully Alaina chooses gifts for people and how important it is for her to do so. What a sweetheart. I really can't relate to all that baby spit-up. No wonder he is not gaining weight - the amount on your sweatshirt was probably his entire meal - wow! I will be praying that things turn around for him and he gets more nourishment and in turn you get more sleep too!
i am still laughing at that picture of cutiepiebaby and your comment that is how you look in the morning. i am pretty sure i looked like that for a year straight with marshall!! that was my favorite. but i always love every picture you take!
