Over Anthony's spring break, we went to Colorado for the duel purpose of visiting the Dietrichs and getting in a few job interviews. It was a successful visit for Anthony, generating lots of interest and helping him hone his interviewing skills. I ate a lot, gained five pounds in a week (a personal record!), and laid on the sofa. If you couldn't tell, I was a party to be around! Luckily, I feel much better and more energized now that I've reached the honeymoon stage of the second trimester!
Of course, there must be lots of ice cream in bed! My kids' perception of the world has been permanently altered by this fun tradition, and they feel like our house is a prison of imposing rules since we don't let them do this at home!

Connor had been asking for months to go bowling, and we kept telling him we'd go with Nana and Papa. Between the games and the treats, he could have stayed all day!

After a bad shot... :)

...and a good one!

Oh, the excitement!

The girls lost interest way before Connor did. Beware the wrath of three-year-old attitude.

We got a true dose of Colorado weather, ranging from snow, to cold wind, to seventy degree days, to a forecasted blizzard that never happened. On the nice days, we tried to play outside as much as we could. We went to Fort Fun to play mini golf and the guys took the kids on the go-karts.

When we left Utah, there was a foot of snow on the ground, and we returned home to our first dose of spring! It was so nice to venture outdoors again! We visited Grandma and Grandpa on one beautiful afternoon, playing in the yard, going on lawnmower rides, running trains, and riding scooters to see the horses.

It seems so unbelievable that Anthony has 39 days left of school! Though so much has remained static since we moved here, our kids have grown up so much. Graduation is right around the corner, and we couldn't be more thankful for a supportive family that has helped us come so far!

This photo was taken nearly a year after we moved here! Seems like just yesterday, doesn't it? It's been quite the journey!

the ice cream in bed just cracks me up! looks like a lot of fun with bowling and go-karts. i think we're all ready for spring to begin and not be cooped up in the house anymore!
That is really fun to see Connor's growth in those last two pictures. Amazing! Time does fly. DayneRae is looking more and more grown up too! It's a good thing you're having another little one that we can squeeze and kiss who can't run away! Hope you're feeling well!
