Initiate CPR to the blog!

We're trying to get the most out of the last few weeks of summer while simultanously upping our commitments, so things have been busy!  Since we got home from our Utah trip, I increased my Lionbridge hours and also started watching our neighbor's little girl, in addition to caring for Garris and my own three. Needless to say, it feels a bit like spinning plates over here.  We're 20% of the way to our goal of being debt free and it feels good to be making ground and seeing some fruits of our hard work!  I didn't take many pictures on our Utah trip past our first day there because I just needed to take a break from responsibilities for a minute, and sometimes the rebelling from taking photos lets me feel indulgent!  Of course, the guilt of not having our great memories immortalized still plagued me, but I have made my peace with it!

It wouldn't be a Broadhead Independence Day without a slip 'n slide!

Let's keep this day going with a few hours at the Whites' pool!

We had a great trip!  I may have lied earlier about making peace with not taking any Lagoon or Bear Lake photos, but I really did need the break so I'm trying  not to beat myself up about it.  I'm excited to see everyone again so soon in November!

i just love how you capture such fun moments! i think you needed a break and sounds like you need one now! proud of you for working so hard to work on your debt- it is a really hard thing to do and the fact that you realized your mistakes and are now correcting them by working extra hard is AWESOME! p.s. i need to make peace with the fact that i am a horrible photographer!!!
