As any new mom does, I constantly worry about Connor's physical developments. It seems like he tries things, then deems them unworthy of his time. For example, he's never rolled over completely. He'll roll over to his side so that he can see whatever he wants, but that is as far as he goes. He just started bearing weight and standing about two weeks ago, but since then, seems uninterested. He IS getting better at sitting unassisted, though, so I'll give him that.

We've got two bottom teeth! They officially broke through two days ago. So far, they're just little white buds, but they're definitely there.

Three days ago, Anthony woke me up in the morning to come and see what Connor was doing. From his doorway, you could just see two chubby arms reaching up and trying to grab the dinosaurs on his mobile. We thought it was pretty cute. Little did we know that he had a menacing plan in store. That same day, after waking from his nap (but not making a peep), he successfully grabbed a dinosaur, and yanked so hard his entire mobile broke in half! When we got him up, the mobile was on his chest, and he couldn't hide his mischievious smile behind the dinosaur in his mouth.

Lately, Connor has been venturing into the world of bubble baths. During his first one, about a week ago, he wasn't quite sure what to think, so he sat peacefully as I bathed him. Tonight was quite the contrasting scene! He discovered that kicking makes a fun sound, and once this kid starts kicking, he doesn't stop! (We learned this at his 4 month doctor's appointment where he had too much fun with the paper on the table.) He gets a manic look in his eyes and starts breathing heavily. I can't help but laugh. He also chose the bathtub to start standing again, and found it quite amusing to stand for a couple of seconds, then throw his legs out from under him to quickly plunge back into the chest level water (don't worry, I'm in there with him).

I can't believe he'll be HALF A YEAR OLD in 12 days!!!

Dude - they must be related! Tori rolled over at 12 DAYS old and then not again until she was like 5 MONTHS old! I really had a pet rock until she was 11 months old - Lucky me!
